A powerful Full Moon energizes the time of the "Lions Gate" with 2 Kite aspect formations and a Grand Air Trine. Let's have a look!

Air Supply: Stoking the Inner Flame. 

We're in Leo! The fire burns from within this time with this energy. Activate transformation from the inside out, reconstructing and creating a new self-image to bring to society. To be out in the world and in a community in this new way takes effort through the power of choice, courage and continued faith and confidence in oneself. Limitations, barriers and resistance to your personal will may be heavily present at this time, and outer circumstances may reflect that, but they are only mental constructs that you yourself have continued to believe in.  Liberate yourself from the inner talk and inner structures that have held you back.

Birthed from Leo

This Full Moon was "birthed" in Leo, so think of this like a “Leo Moon”  showing up in Aquarius, at full bloom, a reaction from that beginning seed point two weeks back, all still while in Leo season. How are you showing up? Bring higher Leo embodiment into the group or society. 

Lions work together as a group when hunting. Does a lion need to roar all the time? No, it's called quiet confidence, and when it does roar, it’s powerful. You don't have to prove yourself when you are in your own power confidently. It doesn’t need a dramatic song & dance, or work its charisma to pull a favored opinion towards it to gain approval as a necessity. It simply is, does, and is proud of it. Show yourself attention and love, from which to be and give to others generously from.

There's also a certain freedom in being yourself, believing in yourself, freeing yourself from approval, and having that self-confidence within social constructs that inspires others to do so as well. Express your heart energy and express your real self. Expressing yourself in transparent, real ways, shows others who you are. What you see is what you get. You don't have to prove or explain yourself when you are in your own power confidently. 

The freedom of will. Will power. With an observing awareness of others, and yourself, you can choose how to be, act, create your life, and respond in ways that uphold, and are in alignment, with your integrity. Your will is part of your choosing function every day, in all that you do. Be intentional.

Stranger In A Strange Land

As another frequency of this energy in being yourself, can feel like being a stranger in a strange land. Living from your own uniqueness might not please everybody, or fit into traditional roles. It can leave one feeling isolated or as “Black Sheep” in a society that doesn’t “get you” or that you seem to be an island of your own that people seem to simply marvel at like a circus freak or alien. Sometimes it's risky to put yourself out there. The lesson can be, with Leo courage, to continue to just be you, confidently, regardless of how society sees you. Leo doesn't have to fit in. Are you allowing society to define you or do you define yourself? Be yourself, unapologetically. You do have a place in society in some capacity, maybe you’re meant for a new community or group if you choose.

Peak Energy Fullness and the Leo/Aquarius Combo

Like the 8/8 Lion's Gate apex, there is an alignment at the threshold, at the peak. Bring yourself beyond your ego a little bit here and step in with your higher self.

I find full moons to be very characteristic of Leo. It's the full ripeness, the flowers full bloom in the Sun, the peak, the Apex, the full shine, the illumination seen, the confidence. At night the Full Moon is like a spotlight in a dark theater, but it is being illuminated by the Sun, to show its fullness in all of its glory. It shows us everything, our all, our authenticity, the heart on our sleeve, “this is me.”

Embrace your originality, who you are unapologetically while accepting and supporting others as their own unique selves and their own contributions. Bring your uniqueness, talents and “you-ness” to society. There’s no one like you. Bring it to the people.. Liberate yourself, let it all hang out, be yourself, it's okay to be weird. Your creation is in society, it's in the public gallery. How do you fit in and work with society in your unique way that plays a specific role? 

This Full Moon illuminates a stage where we can shine or motivate others to shine as well. Be a leader in a volunteer setting perhaps. Use your energy for the good of a group. Lessen the ego some and be a part of a humanitarian cause or something that’s bigger than yourself that you can add fire to.. Involve yourself with kids and children in a positive way in the community, or at a summer camp, inspire them, lift them up, and lead by example. Paint a big mural in the community together.

Beyond Egoic Self-Centeredness: The star joins the chorus.

The Sun shines on everyone regardless of who they are, not just the “star” or the King we place on a pedestal. Think of a show that involves audience participation, like the bizarre ‘Blue Man Group” or “The Price Is Right” game show or a magic show.  A “civilian,” a “normal” person, a non-performer becomes part of the act.

This is the part of the play where the lead role steps in to join the chorus of individual characters, and this amplified song rings out with all these different voices, and the audience is singing along. The director of the play is watching, observing this in the wings, this realized creation in action. It’s moving, it’s powerful.

Or think about when you’re at a big stadium concert and the whole crowd is singing along with the performer. A united whole. You see this with all the people singing along at the Oasis band reunion shows happening now. This is an energy of social creativity, creating something with a group of people. Instead of Cheap Trick’s song “I Want You To Want Me,” it’s the humanitarian intention, willingness and talent of each individual superstar that came together to sing “We Are the World,” which was written by

"LION"el Richie.

A band may have a stand-out front man like David Lee Roth (Leo by the way), but Van Halen was a band comprised of the innovative Eddie Van Halen (Aquarius!) and 2 other band mates as well. Every band or ensemble has its individual players that play a part of the whole. 

There are dual elements involved, “me” and “all of us,” or the individual and band, the individual and the audience or society, and the combination that allows for its usefulness. They work together, they need each other and we can realize further who we are as individuals as well when we participate and add to society.

Grand Air Trine & Dual King Kites

This makes me think about that button for your car’s air conditioner that you press to circulate the air inside the car. This energy is like three intelligent masterminds huddled in, head to head to head, and closing themselves in this circuit of mind. It’s “Think Tank” energy. Networking. This Air Grand Trine is a thinker, an innovator, and all in the head. Freedom of thought, open mindedness. Group communication and ideas. Maybe it’s time to break the rules in creating something that’s new.

This chart energy is also like the observing pilot captain walking around the aircraft before its voyage and making necessary adjustments and going through the checklist before departure and who also involves the co-pilot and is communicating what's necessary. Listening to the aircrafts whirring engines, the captain knows what it should sound like. Maybe also the plane is too heavy, so they have to leave some luggage behind. Maybe the plane is being forced to leave where it’s at.

Twin Kites

With Uranus and Gemini of course we have not one, but TWO, kite formation aspects in this Full Moon chart involving the Grand Air Trine! Air AND kites, perfect! Everything is GRAND and dramatic in Leo. Talk about Aquarius’ dreamy “Castles in the Sky.” This energy wants to sail our ideas right through the Lion’s Gate and into reality as a new dimension of ourselves. We can direct this Air energy in a certain direction and use it. Fire and Air combine here with ideas, motivation, creation and lift off. 

Just like flying a kite, patience and observation is essential. We need an objective view, a higher perspective and use a degree of detachment to be calm in challenging situations.

There’s a push/pull feeling when flying a kite. The air really wants to take the kite and send it far out with a strong wind. Don’t get distracted, hold on, and real it in some here and there. You do have control over how to make the kite do tricks and have fun with it. You are the anchor and controller of this fun magic, working with the wind. Remember, kites are for fun and entertainment, we are in Leo season after all! If your hubris ego begins to arise, you can reel it in a little bit.

+ The Mars to Saturn Kite stokes the fire within us. There’s inner action and inner passions for a new start. It also calls for you to tap into mental discipline. Guide your personal will energy and assertiveness to support whatever that is for you, instead of being pulled back into comfort zones, distractions, using avoidance tactics, following someone else's desire or not wanting to rock the boat in some way. This is where you take the spool of string of this kite from your father, or mother’s grip, and say, “Let me do this.”

That tension you feel on the kites string, it’s actually necessary right? Stay focused. Initiate mutually constructive relationships that help build on dreams with ideas that can help in creating structure for their fruition.

Saturn is building up your self-respect, it's an internal structure that is being rebuilt. Re-assess and work on where you need more self-discipline. What new limits and boundaries do you need to put on yourself to keep you on track? What limits your freedoms? How have you been limiting yourself? Take responsibility for yourself.

+ The Pluto to Mercury Retrograde Kite supplies air to your courage to go beyond what you’re used to doing, those old operating systems. You can only get so far within your mind. Listen to your heart, hear those inner passions, listen to the inner messages that are sparks for the motivation for something that needs to take off and fly. Air is life-giving. “Re-fly” your kite where there is better wind to scoop up that kite to where it will be seen and fly higher, where it will lead and show the way for others, or …”ah-haa”... guide you to follow the yellow brick road dear Lion, to lead your “pride,” group, club or community in some capacity.
