November 9, 2026 Energy Report

This New Moon cycle carries the Solar impulse and desire of Scorpio. Scorpio is intensely dynamic with Archetypal themes of sex, death, secrets, investigating to find the truth, psychology, transformation, power over, things out of our control, jealousy, vengeance, limitations, and other people’s money and things, just to name a few. Like all New Moons, they start in the dark. Scorpio IS the dark. Scorpio's darkness at its New Moon is like the lotus seed in the mud, under the depth and pressure of dark mucky water with its first impulse upwards. Along with Scorpio themes, another energy that is pulling for more attention is Leo. Leo energy needs attention, this is like 3rd encore energy, more, more. So let's look at why and how these two themes are in play, while also regarding all the other planetary placements and relationships that make this New Moon powerful. 

Retrograde Energy to Take Care of First and Lead with and From

A time to gather inner essence and strength to carry you forward.

Re-count. (Voting ballots.)

Reconnect or revisit with old relationships with your heart, mentally, physically, also of past abuse and hurts from them perhaps, and tend to this or make adjustments with them, or how you perceive these relationships or such related themes.

Reevaluate and contemplate your values and where they come from and if they are right for you regardless of societal or family standards, then act on them.

Reassess your finances and make adjustments.

Review and revise documents and details.

Reassess and investigate the attachments you have.

Recollect and recognize what is truly beautiful about yourself.

Research.

Relearn.

Redo.

What will you DO with this information? Act upon it for its transformational powers to take effect and have something to work with and grab onto in a positive changing way. Action set-ups. Action preps. Bring what you’ve learned into action.

The Control Factor

Control and power. Think of the evil villain characters in movies and stories that get really angry when things don't go their way in these regards. They are trying to keep and hold control over someone or a large group. We can also think of aspects of ourselves that we feel we have control over, and Scorpio is very much about things that are beyond our control, but the inner grasping to remain in control of situations or of other people can also be an issue, and the keeping and possessing of control can cause issues and tension.

Expanded low frequency “Masculine” type themes to be aware of. 

There's alot of fuel for this kind of fire to burn steady and strong. Masculine style expansion. Taking. “Mine.” Actions for attention. Arrogance. An "I'm more important or special than you."  "Do my bidding:" Using you. Advancing to claim. Conquer. Take over. Power and control. Power grabs. Egotistical needs and habits.  A Scorpionic impulse can be to lash out, or to strike. It can also be to retaliate or seek revenge against such lower energies. 

All of these kinds of energies can reveal frustrations of personal limitations and what we actually don't have control over. Issues of being obsessively entranced by a charismatic person, you can lose yourself into such magnetic, attractive grand posturing which could be a manipulative mask. Although this dynamic can be a harmless natural social charm, it also can be used in lower egoic energy ways such as for power and control whether it be consciously or unconsciously done. Charisma needs an audience.

All of this energy theme can also be dredged up from experiences you had in the past that are making their attention known for some kind of transformation or healing. Meet up with and confront painful truths in this realm.

Seduction also is infused with power, control, sexual energy, can’t get enough, gluttonous desire, need, and loss of self into another, all within the realm of hypnotic, magnetizing, sultry, gravitational "tractor beam" pull-like Scorpio energy. Think of Dracula, Black Widow or Femme Fatale kinds of characters or most kinds of themes you see advertising tactics.

What parts of you, that have their long roots in the past, have been a fixed mode of being, or the ideas or ways you think, or old points of view, even points of views of society that are seeking specific attention right now. They're waving at you saying "Hey over here, look at me!" And specifically things that are outdated, doesn't work anymore, and within "Masculine" Archetypal themes and things that really get an emotional response from you, and have been in some way a limitation in your life that you're butting up against. So consciously seize the opportunity to put attention to remove, or adjust, heal or revive to do it in a new way now.

What are you giving energy and attention to mentally that is actually limiting you, that is having power over you when you feed into it? Push past the limitations that are felt from outside power that you feel keeps a hold on you. Move beyond the threshold that seems to be a binding matter.

In addition, it can also be an impulse to investigate and get to the truth of something to bring matters to the surface and also to investigate motives.

Another energy here can be of a hidden Inner Child kind of talent that becomes apparent and useful to explore further to express.

The Queen of Pop “I’m a bad feminist” 

This was years back, but I feel it to be a prominent example of the themes of this New Moon energy overall. Madonna's powerful speech at the Billboard Awards as  "Woman of the Year," embodies an essence of this plus with Venus retrograde stationing direct thus coming out of “The Underworld” so to speak, resiliently. The topic of women of power. Here she emotionally speaks from experience and from inner depths into topics and themes of the Feminine, self-expression, breaking through social norms and rules, what's acceptable, sexuality, abuse, the recognition of power and imbalance of men and women in the industry, and her resilience all of which is on a stage in recognition and fame in a retrospective explanation. She's a good example also of Phoenix energy and passing through the lessons of the Underworld. Her acceptance speech was, and is, inspiring for others.

Merging with the Character

We've just had Halloween, something of which is very Scorpio. Let's remember this energy as merging with an Archetype as like when we put on a costume. Putting it on and absorbing its powers, becoming more than what you are through it, giving you super powers and confidence. You can acquire, to go beyond a limitation you felt you had. You feel special. (“Super” = more than, beyond normal, extra) You put on a cape and you become Superman. You put on the mask and you become, and have the powers of, Wonder Woman. You take on a character whose characteristics you want, want the power of, or admire, you merge with it, for more, for more from what you thought you lacked and wanted. I just heard a clip on the radio of an interview with a girl who could not perform a backflip without wearing a tiger costume.

Other People’s Stuff

A fixation of attention and focus on other people can be a main deal here. “What are THEY doing?” “I heard that so and so…” “My neighbor did such and such…” “I couldn’t believe what Dan said to Suzy last night!” You NEED to know. Behind closed doors kind of gossip, drama, and secrets exposed that are other people's business. 

In regards to others, this is also a time to become aware of how you rely on others and your dependencies on them. Any sort of attachment can be investigated and become more of an awareness. And also this can be vice versa, people that are attached to and rely on you for things, money, ways of being and over reaching support. Maybe you manipulate and control, for that and retain that attachment and dependency, or can now recognize someone doing that on you consciously or not.

Levels of Close Relationship Energy

Initiate the conversation. In very close relationships, the door of intimacy requires taking a personal risk of opening. Deeper communication pulls close to an uncomfortableness with vulnerabilities exposed with emotional feeling. Even personal wounds and secrets can be met with care when there is trust and loyalty within an intimate bond that ultimately strengthens a relationship and brings them to new levels. 

It could also be that a shared experience of the past bonds you in some way. Karmic bonds are active here. It also can be that any relationship cycles that had been repeatedly toxic, abusive, controlling, offset power dynamic, or very difficult, reveal themselves in a light that you can now be free from them or such situations are repeating to get your attention in order to “wake up” and let go of such relations and such limitations. 

Even the bonds, which can include relationships with friends or even groups of people that were not toxic but were meant to be for a lesson or a purpose of some sort in other positive ways can come to a place where things get resolved in some fashion, a closing of sorts, so that new growth can begin to emerge still with the other in a new way, or without them.

What to Start

This energy at the beginning is like idling at a traffic stop waiting for the turn signal.

It’s also like at the beginning of the board game where you choose your player and you read the instructions of how to play and win. Then we begin.

Initiating movement for sexual enticement, excitement, pleasure and loss of self through sexual union. The play and swirl of Shiva-Shakti merge as one. Erotic "commune"ication.

Initiate an investigation. Dig deeper. Why? Begin to uncover the motives and truth of things.

Initiating a transformation. Initiating the transition out from what limits you for personal growth.

Initiating the removal of limitations or the beginning from which a limitation has been removed either consciously or because of circumstances beyond your control  like a form of loss. Your inner talk can be of a controlling or negative nature. For most of us that's true. It is natural.

Initiate, by choice, into using positive encouraging inner dialog as your very own power source energy.

Initiate to consciously tap into accessing your inner peace in the chaos or things that are seemingly out of our control.

Use your inner Lion and activate to use inner positive motivating words and messages for your self to activate courage. Lift yourself up with these words and new beliefs then take action. Who do you admire that does and acts like this? Be like them.

Activating the joy of the Inner Child from remembering the past, the joy within oneself for one's use at any given moment.

In what ways can you initiate your generosity. What kind of generous , heartfelt giving or financial giving can you do that is more secretive, without recognition or not done for attention in a way that are charitable and helping those in need.  

Initiate to lead with your heart, vocally. Inspire with it. Speak from it. Share your story. Be the spark for another. Light their fire.

Initiate a passionate creative project.

Creative Impetus 

This energy can also potentially be a highly motivated creative period in action. Making the imagined real. Tap in and do it. You can even transmute sexual energy to direct it towards active creative output. Passionate fervor can be inspiring. Cooperating on a creative project where you each fill the gaps of what the other lacks, inspiring each other and lifting each other up.

Fire & Water

Leo is a Fire kind of energy, Scorpio is a Water kind of energy. Rather it being an extinguishing use of power, although that can be used positively for good and safety, here are positive combos for use of the two to have in mind of this active pair:

Man & Woman

Steam power

Cleansing humidifier 

Removal by hot water.

The Bialetti mocha coffee machine or espresso maker that uses the process of steam.

Boil to cook 

Process of evaporation

Sweating from healthy activity, sex

Heart energy (Love) as a transformer
