Scorpio Full Moon Energy Report
May 1st, 2026
The Full Moon gets all the glory, and attention but remember it gives perfect, full, reflection with the Sun's light. They work in tandem for this brilliant, recognized illumination. This phase began in Aries and now arrives at its full best, and brightest, awareness with the Sun in Taurus, reflected by the Moon in Scorpio. That fullness then will wane into wider areas of where and how we share ourselves, our energy and its use.
Self-cultivation requires an objective view of yourself and that may come from another person, or you can take the time to be intimate with deeper levels of yourself, on your own, in a kind of detached way. This is a good time to talk about it with another though, a good time for therapy.
With this Scorpio Full Moon energy, intense, emotional, necessary interactions can bring to your attention your wounds, or deeper, personal, secretive parts of yourself that require light and transformation. It can be a challenge to face and push through. It can also be a necessary grounding test of how you respond to outer intense stimuli, or when your attention is being pulled here, there and everywhere. When the Universe places you into situations that are a bit hard to handle, it requires you to be present, to not be outwardly affected, and to handle it. Be the calm in the intensity, be the grounded one. Think of how the ER doctor handles themselves. Yeah they feel it, but it’s handled. Breath. Be in the body. Be present. Let’s take the Scorpio deep dive. You with me?
The Bull Fighter
The Matador stands firm in confrontation, attracting the bull’s advance with a red cape. Elegant body movements in an intense, risky, play and dance on display. Ease of control, with a leaning in assured-ness. On display is a calm power and presence with noticeable "duende," a creative passionate artistic vitality, in the face of death that makes the heart beat fast as he consistently and elegantly, guides that heavy mass of nature to the side, until it tires and is killed.
Bring it on
Think of the Kung Fu fight scene when, at a moment of pause, and a slight smile, one motions with their hand for their opponent to come closer, just like the movement of the Matador's cape.
The Immovable Spot
The Buddha sat under the Bodhi Tree in this place known as the “Immovable Spot.” Here he sat unmoved as he was tested from his environment, his outside world, with attractions, desires, temptations, and his inner thoughts. You can access this “immovable spot” when there is chaos and intensity by being peace, and recognizing your inner calmness and using it, being this immovable spot, calm, centered. This too is also being solid in who you are in everyday life, being solid in your worth and values. It is here also that the Buddha had his full moon moment, his “illumination” that there is suffering and that there is a path from it.
"You are enough."
Have you read “The Boy, The Mole, The Fox and The Horse” by Charlie Mackesy? It gives tremendous compassionate support and relatability to this common phrase. While at this time you can also be pulled by tides of experiences that attract you to wanting to be more than you are, here is an opportunity to recognize and support your entire whole self as complete, nothing more is needed. It can be felt as a pull to want to do something to prove yourself and your worth. Comparing yourself to others can deplete your true energy, so too when you ruminate about your wounds with such comparisons. Time to release that.
Or it can be the feeling of lack that something is missing that impels you to compulsively fill what feels like emptiness. Other people have a kind of power that you are attracted to that you feel you lack, or that you want to have, or be. You see what others have, or are, and you get jealous. Your sense of worth here then depends on others. Be aware of these energies.
Think about how much of your motivation comes from comparing, or from such things as lack or jealous want. Or rather, can you aim towards others who have healthy positive values you admire and want to emulate? You already have it. Cultivate and bring to light what’s already inside you. Others just spark that for you and bring it to your attention.
Spring Cleaning
Self-preservation requires pulling weeds. Letting go of unhealthy energies, habits, situations, and people that drain or suck vital energy from you or take advantage of what you have. It can be the opposite as well, when you associate or merge with others from a place of lack, need or of want.
It can also be letting go of possessions that somehow limit you or that you have grown out of. Or that some of those objects are an old symbol of your identity, or life. This can be used as a time to let go of what's not essential in your life and in your everyday personal space and with things you have and held close, were attached to, identified with, or thought you still needed.
In such recognizing, then letting go, more nutrients and roots that have been growing from the Aries New Moon can take a firmer hold for drawing sustenance and strength. Take ownership here, "this ground is mine. I cultivate it. I recognize my 'own' vitality, power, essence, usefulness and worth." From there, you give it and share it.
Taurus roots and the Root Chakra.
Heightened sexual sensual sensitivities. This can be a time that brings up issues of either being taken advantage of, used for, manipulated, being lured, or that you become reminded about from past experiences and it brings up a well of emotions. It can be sexual activity that was a result of low self-worth or the lack of self-respect. Has sexual abuse or trauma been an issue that needs to be re-evaluated for growth? Deeper root excavation with professional help may be needed for these wounds, there's more support here now for this.
If you’re having a new passionate spark relationship, ask yourself if this person is right for you? Is your combined energy mutually uplifting? Is this a relationship that is nourishing? Do they deserve me? Act firmly from healthy personal values.
There is support here as well to experience deep bonding not only through sexual closeness, but through vulnerability and secret truth revealing with the right person or partner. Intimacy requires privacy for vulnerability to be welcomed and expressed. A kind of peace, receptiveness, and trust needs to be there for the depth of one another to have its place and be communicated. This can be a time to engage with such experiences to "fully" see each other and to "touch" each other. These experiences build value for the relationship and support its growth. Intimate touch, physical contact, healing by touch all are supported here too.
“Touch me babe, can’t you see that I am not afraid..."
Whether you engage with sexual energy and sexual pleasure by yourself, or with another, this energy can be used as a grounding force of being in the body or really being WITH somebody.. Awareness of the senses can be an activity that maintains "living the Now" presence. Engage with the senses. Touch the surface, feel it deeply. Experience pleasure as a gift of conscious experience. Experiencing pleasure means to also accept its release, the letting go from it, the passing of it.
Addictive Compulsions and Attachments
Think about addictive qualities or even the big energy drink fads. All sorts of things can be taken to extreme intensity, or over abundance, because some states desire to be maintained at their peak like a forever full moon. A pleasure, escape, or a feeling of intensity does not want to end. At that point it becomes the energy of something having power over you. An outside energy that is needed, desired, and wanted, comes to a point that an individual's vitality weakens and fails to be self-maintained.
This full moon also supports recognizing any sort of guilt, forgiving yourself, and making direct amends to others or people you have harmed. Step 9 in A.A. kinds of communication. Making peace with yourself as well. In so doing, you participate in part of your healing cultivation process, and you also clear space, and let go of some of that mental ruminating baggage. Communicate bravely from a healed embodied place rather than from your woundedness. Or maybe you are the recipient of such amends.
Empowerment
The awareness of giving energy away, being pulled from yourself, can be a catalyst of the confirmation that your worth is powerful and that you can root in, and act from that point and cultivate your “chi”. You recognize yourself, you claim, own and possess, your own power and energy to be used and shared in ways that you wish and you can have mature control over that. Cultivate the energy and belief that you are the source of your regenerative powers and use that energy. Share the unique resources you have and possess, and be of use from them, for or with, another, others, or community.
Co-creative bond.
Your personal “limitations” can be where another compensates, and vice versa, in positive ways when you combine forces. You can’t do it all on your own sometimes. Here we can cooperate and recognize the talents and resources of another to create something new or gain knowledge from. Sometimes your shining individuality, purpose and worth gets noticed, and others want to attach, use your energy, be a part of it, exploit it, or control it. Recognize your own power in such moments. My power, your power, or our power themes become apparent here. Such karmic interactions can be taking place.
Some symbiotic relationships are useful for things that could never come to be, or created, or expressed, without another. There are some times when union, merging with, or attaching to something "outside" yourself, or someone, a group, a religion, is a necessary activation process for a creation of some sort, or for a transformative process to work itself through, that further enhances who you are as an individual and your identity, as part of a new root system taking hold, your becoming.
The Questions
Sometimes it's moments like this that bring your awareness to the inner power of yourself that asks why do I feel the need to be more than I am? Why do I feel I need this, that, you? What, or who, am I dependent on? What outside sources am I giving my energy and vitality to in an unhealthy way and is it worth it? Why do I feel the need to prove my worth? What's toxic to my growth? Why am I trying to get what someone else has? Why do I feel the need to attach to something/someone to feel approval, wanted, included, validated, loved? What ways can I show myself such recognition?
Your transformation nourishes new values in others.
Your energy, embodiment and power can ultimately be transformational for someone else. They need you perhaps. Maybe it's a family member, someone from your past, a friend, or a stranger. Something from your past can activate you into such a role here. You were a heroin addict for example, or was abused, and now you're called to use your personal experience to help and empower someone else, to be the shining light. You give back at this point by way of "direct injection" of hope and inspiration to another, your purpose is healing.
This kind of "transformational helper" theme can be activated here as you take it beyond yourself. It activates by being an example. What did you used to be attached to, or have issues with, but can now help others who have the same issue? A sick plant can be grafted with a healthy one. "Use my roots," "grab hold here," it says.
Anybody can share a deeply personal experience that can be a powerful life changing interaction to help someone, even parent to child interactions. Epiphanies for transformation and change can happen with a person, something someone says that you hear, something that you see that touches you, something you read, a movie you watch, a Tik Tok post, a religious faith sermon, a full moon.
Owning your personal issues and wounds, and giving them a voice can be powerful for others. Giving voice to your wounds can be powerful for you, even more so when you express and release them from your healed wound voice. It can help move what had been a fixed, stagnant, energy held within you in your energy body, it loosens that energy up, and gives active use to it. You embody a powerful recognized value and can become valuable in this kind of way for others positively.
Have a good Journey,
Christopher
